Cry

November 9, 2005 at 11:30 pm | Posted in Ideas & Thoughts, My Life | Leave a comment

Cry, is an expression to relief our sadness, dissapointment, or anger.

Personally, I hate to cry. Why? The reason can be funny. When I cry I tend to get a serious head-ache.

I used to be a cry-baby when I was in primary school. Almost everyday, I cry just to fight or argue with my sis. Childish, but that’s what I am at that age.

When I become more mature, I rarely cry. Even though I’ve attended two relative’s funeral, but I didnt cry. Maybe, is because I’m not so close with them.

The last time I cry, was the end of last year. I was attending a motivation-type course. One of the climax of the course is to make you realise the importance of parents. I cried, the motivator’s words are really heart-breaking. I try to stop but I just cant, my mind couldnt control my action.

Yeah… I tried to stop crying immediately, perhaps to act cool huh? But after crying, there’s marks on your face shows you’ve been crying. Red-eye, choking voice, running-nose….

Few days ago, I went to my relative’s house to visit my paternal aunt, who’re suffering from 3rd stage cancer. I’ve visited her few times when she was in hospital, she’s still ok at that time.

She’s very very weak and ill, hardly can speaks. Everyone was heart-broken when saw her in this situation. Having difficulty in breathing, hardly can move by herself.

Because there’s many other relatives(adults) around, so I make my move and read the book I bring along.

My sisters in China are very worried about her. My mother ask me not to tell them too much, dont want to disturb their studies. I still message them to report the latest situation. Both my siss are very close to my aunt.

After finishing my books, I pay visit to her room again. She’s pale, and softly ask me go home and rest. I went out from the room, and sit at the living room. I started to think how unfair to let her suffer like this, then started to cry.

She was the one whom helped my father and my uncle after my grandmother passed away when my father was just 7. My aunt was a very hardworking women.
She cares for anyone, and she’s generous.

As what I mentioned above, one of the funeral I attended recent years was my aunt’s husband’s funeral. Because I’m much closer to my aunt, so I have no feeling about the death of my uncle.

But now…. watching aunt suffer like this is really heart-breaking. It’s so sad, my sis are unlikely to attend her funeral…… but the clock’s ticking and the countdown almost hits zero…..

Pray hard, pray for her to get well, pray for her to stop suffering, pray for eternal peace….

Computer Experience

November 5, 2005 at 11:06 pm | Posted in My Life | 14 Comments

For those who knew me since my childhood, they probably know most of the time I’m sitting infront of computer. In fact, I’ve been sitting infront computer for hours since I’m primary school, but to be precise, the time I get in touch with computer is when I’m in kindergadren.

My father bought an MS-DOS based computer back in the early 90’s, cost thousands that time as I recalls. Being a kid, of course I was hooked up with the games. The first few games I played are Prince of Persia, Tetris, Alley Cat, Pac-Man.

I still remember one day I went to Jusco, there was computer exhibition. I’m hooked on the game DOOM & Minesweeper. As a kid, I dunno how to share the game with others, so I played the game for hours over there untill my family drag me back home.

In year 98, when I was 9, we bought a Windows 98-based Pentium II. That time, it was a great machine. It has 64MB RAM & 3 GB Harddisk space(pathetic). The game I was playing was Age of Empires I. Heh, still remember I like to use the cheatcode ‘bigdaddy’.

The computer are loaded with lots of games, ’til 26th April 99, the date many computer-geeks will remember, the CIH virus’ attack. We had to reformat the computer, and starts everything from 0.

The reformatted computer run quite well, untill a night of June 2002. I was playing WWE Smackdown , and then suddently the computer just went off. I couldnt get into the Windows interface, stuck in the BIOS interface. Oh well, the computer was abandon and we decided to get a new computer after this Pentium II had serve us for 4 years.

August 2002, my father brought me and sis to the PC Fair to get a new computer. My sis was brilliant, she manage to get bargain a RM 3k computer ’til RM 2k with the additional of more goodies!!
The computer specs are Pentium 4 2GHz, 256 RAM, 60 GB Harddisk space(compare to the previous 3 GB), Nvdia GeForce 4 MX, CD-RW/DVD combo drive.
It was a great computer, and I named it Vikings, after the company we bought this com. I’ve been using this computer for about 4 years alrdy.

I’ve registered broadband Internet connection, Streamyx in year 2003, and computer reformatted in 2004.

April 2004, the power supply of the computer is dead. Later I upgraded my motherboard and power supply, cost around RM 350.

Right now I’m still stick with Vikings, though it’s getting out-dated.

It’s kinda odd you see, since I’m Std.6(12 yrs old), I average sit infront of com for 4 hours and above. Yet, I’m still dont need spectacles to repair my eyesight. My eyes are still good, not affected by the long-time I stare at the radiatious CRT monitor.

My wishlist for my future computer….

  • More than 3GHz processor
  • More than 1 GB RAM
  • More than 256 MB memory graphic card
  • More than 200 GB Harddisk space
  • At least 19′ LCD/plasma monitor
  • High-end multimedia speaker with sub-woofer.

    😉

    Friendship (Poem)

    October 21, 2005 at 3:46 pm | Posted in School & Friends | Leave a comment

    The day has come
To the end of the journey
    With tears and regrets
    We bid farewell
The memories still lies in our heart
The days we have fun together
    The days we cry together
    That, will be remembered
Untill I live in the soil.

    So my friends
    Although we are seperated today
    But That does not mean
    We will seperate forever
We will continue our journey of life
To make our dreams come true
Different journey of life might seperate us
But if we still holds the bond of our friendship
We will meet again, somewhere in time.

    To make this become reality
    Remember
    FRIENDSHIP FOREVER!!

Today is my school’s convocation, so this poem is dedicated to my seniors. Wish they will do well in their future!!

    My Passion on Football

October 17, 2005 at 10:05 pm | Posted in My Life | Leave a comment

The first time I really notice football, dated back in 1998, when international matches playing in France for World Cup 98. My interest of football starts from that moment.

Although that was 7 years ago, but I could remember some of the matches. Ronaldo from Brazil shines during the matches, but too bad he couldnt fit in to the final match. The match between Brazil & Netherlands(semi-final) was one of the most remarkable in my memory, though I hardly can remember much about the whole game. (I had to refer the article from Wikipedia lol)

After that, I nudge my father get me a football, eventually my father get me a Reebok ball, for about RM 40? That time I’m still a small kid, I couldnt play nicely with the ball ‘coz I’m too small to control the ball. Then I join local Malays to play with them every evening. Because of that, I somehow learnt my basics for football.

EURO 2000 doesnt made any impact on me. I only notice it during the preview of EURO 2004 last year. Meh, 2 years passed so fast.

Because my school doesnt have a proper field for football, plus I seldom play with local Malays, I seems to be rule out from football then.

Year 2002, football fever is back. This time, I’m lucky to be with a bunch of football fans in school. I was attracted to lots of football gears this time.

Firstly, what I notice is this, Adidas Fevernova, the official WC 02 matchball.

Second, is Beckham’s boots, Adidas Predator Mania Lunar.

Third, is the boots worn by most of Nike players, Nike Air Zoom Total II.

After the WC ends, I’ve become a football fanatic. I’ve been following Man Utd in EPL matches for the 02/03 season ’til now. That time I dont have Astro, so I can only watch highlights of the matches. It’s good enough for me alrdy.

After then, I’ve been following the latest news of football gears online, especiall the balls and the boots. Sometimes, I’m fond of the new football gears than the match results.

Near the end of 2003, Adidas & Nike both launched their new football gears. I’m excited to check these gears out.

    Adidas’ Roteiro & Predator Pulse.

Nike’s Air Zoom Total 90 series.

These gears are still available, though it will be replaced next year, in conjunction of the WC 06 at Germany.

For now, I’m happy to have this boot, Adidas Predator Pulsado TRX SG.

Tomorrow I’m having school football competition, hope this boots will bring me luck and hope! 😉

You Should Get a PhD in Liberal Arts (like political science, literature, or philosophy)

You’re a great thinker and a true philosopher.
You’d make a talented professor or writer.

    Early Biology Practise

    October 9, 2005 at 1:39 pm | Posted in Ideas & Thoughts | 7 Comments

Recently, I’ve been started to learn some Biology knowledge through unusual websites. It’s very gross, and I must say many pictures I’ve viewed are extremely graphic images. Bloody and gore, that’s what can I say to describe it.

Seriously, I do felt uncomfortable at the beginning, but once I’m get use to it, it doesnt bother me anymore. Other than the chance to look into human’s inner organs, I’ve autospy lessons from some of the videos too.

Well of course, I do feel sorry and pity for the deaths, but no matter how I felt sorry, they’re dead, no one can save them anymore. In universities, Biology students are also use corpse for demonstrate & experimental purpose, so no big deal about it.

Images over there can be very gross, but some pictures are quite interesting and funny(black humour).

Well, the link for the website? I’ll post it below. Maybe you knew this site before I do, but I still want to share it for those who’re fresh to this kind of stuff.

BE WARNED!! EXTREME GRAPHIC MATERIAL LIES AHEAD!! CLICK AT YOUR OWN RISK!! (Dont say I didnt warn you.)
